February Lip Factory Box

Hi beauty lovers! Today I received my February Lip Factory beauty kit! Lip Factory is a monthly subscription beauty box, and if you don't know about it or want to sign up, you can learn more here!

I was pretty happy with this month's box! :) Here's what I received:

29 Cosmetics Leather Mirrored Lipstick Case
29 Cosmetics Reserves Grape Seed Age Protecting Moisturizing Lipstick SPF 20 in Stompin' Grapes
29 Cosmetics Grape Seed Age Protecting Lip Treatment in Hint of Honey
29 Cosmetics Sample Skin Care
Nabi Cosmetics Lipliner Pencil in L27 Grape
LASplash Cosmetics Mineral Powder Eyeshadow in Oyster Shell
LASplash Cosmetics Mineral Powder Eyeshadow in Black Sea
LASplash Cosmetics Mineral Powder Eyeshadow in Hula Hula
Mini Kabuki Brush

I can't wait to try these eyeshadows...especially Hula Hula! What a beautiful colour!

From left to right in Natural light: Black Sea, Hula Hula and Oyster Shell

And with flash:

Swatches again, in natural light and then with flash:

Here's the Lip Treatment and the Lipstick. I completely adore both! The lipstick alone is incredibly moisturizing and feels amazing on the lips! I love that that they both contain grape seed extract (a powerful antioxidant). I also think the colour of the lipstick is beautiful, and I couldn't wait to receive it after seeing it in a picture on facebook. I think it's gorgeous! Unfortunately, the sun was beginning to set when I took these pics, and my flash does the colour no justice! Here's some pics in natural light and with flash

Also in these pics is the Nabi lipliner. I'm not completely crazy about this shade. I don't wear any colours that would match this shade. I actually thought it was an eyeliner at first. Maybe I'll try it as such. :) In natural light and then with flash:

Here's the lipstick and lip treatment on my lips with flash. Again, my camera doesn't do this shade enough justice.

The skin samples are teeny tiny and meant for a single use, the kabuki is adorable, and the leather lipstick case is just not my thing.

This was just my second month with Lip Factory, but so far I am loving this company. The customer service is amazing! They generally reply to emails very quickly, and they are always pleasant and more than helpful. :)

Are you subscribed to Lip Factory or are you thinking of doing so? What are your thoughts on this month's box?

Thanks for reading!

  4. Wow, that is a stunning lippy. I can't see the point of a lipstick case either, unless it's meant to help you when you're digging in your bag for the lippy?

    1. Thanks for stopping by, ReNu! :) And yes, that's what I thought about the lipstick case, and I always carry a makeup bag in my handbag, so there's really no need. :) I'll check out your blog!

    1. You should totally subscribe! You cancelled Glossy, right? Replace it with this! :) I'll let you know how the Lip Treatment works out. I'm already loving the shine and faint shimmer it adds to the lipstick, but I'll try it on it's own today. xo

    1. Thanks so much, ReNu! Am following you back. :) And I do have bags...I take a million photos and pick the few they are least visible in. I also use concealer and highlighters and stuff to mask them! Some days they are not as bad as others, of course. But thanks for saying that! :)

  15. I am also a beauty blogger and currently review about 16 or so monthly boxes and I have to say, hands down, Lip Factory is my favorite. This was my 4th box with them and they always pack it full of amazing stuff!! I highly recommend it!! The lip treatment and lip stick is AMAZING! I actually loved the lipstick case myself. I too carry a make up bag but I am using this to keep my favorite lip stick in, it can also be used as a key ring, you can have your favorite lip stick or lip balm at your finger tips! Thanks for the awesome review. Follow me back if you like...http://thefashionbuginflorida.blogspot.com/
